The Last of London Fashion Week

Wednesday 26 September 2012

Sorry for the sporadic posting I honestly never thought 6th Year would be so busy! I actually have to schedule in my shower times just so I can plan out my day in advance and don't even talk to me about keeping up with whatever is on tv. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I start studying (that is if I can get motivated).

Also I have suddenly found myself way behind in the world of fashion seeing as Milan Fashion Week is over and I haven't looked at not so much as one collection yet. So keeping this in mind I'll fly through the last day of London Fashion Week, fly through Milan and do some proper work on Paris because that's where the good stuff is.

First up is the classy collection from Roksanda Ilincic. I don't know about you but I was definitely feeling a slight gravitation towards old time Paris and Yves Saint Laurent in this collection. But I have to say it's a beautifully simple and elegant line once again from Ilincic.

There was Victorian craziness happening over at Topshop's  Meadham Kirchhoff. Only these two designers could get away with curls, ribbons and over the knee boots.

So yeah, that's about it from London. Over all I was very impressed with the new aesthetics coming through for next summer and I can't wait to see what's up for A/W 13.
Hopefully that was fairly pain free for you all. Nice and short for those of you who are getting tired of my constant fashion blogging. I can tell you I'll stop soon, when Paris is over and done with, I promise.
But for now that's it from me,
Thanks for reading,
Ciara.
