Kate Spade Stationary and Accessories

Sunday, 28 December 2014

Hello lovelies!

My love affair with Kate Spade first began when I bought my fabulous chevron iPhone case that's not only gorgeous but very hardwearing, not a scratch on my phone.

This Christmas my friend decided to be the best friend ever and to treat me to even more Kate Spade goodies.

I don't even want to use this notebook for fear I'll ruin it!

Now I'm off to do some work and maybe a little look at the Kate Spade online sales.....

Merry Christmas From Lush

Saturday, 27 December 2014

Hello lovelies!

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas and had a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays. I've had few days of bliss and am now settling back into real life nursing one serious food baby.

One of the gifts I received this Christmas was a Lush Christmas Present Box, which I'm sure all the bath fanatics out there will appreciate. I'm not a big bath person but when I do have one I like to go full out, bubbles and all!

I thought I'd share with you the lovely bits I found when I dug my hands through those little foam packing bits.

\
You don't even need wrapping paper for this beauty!

1) Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub 130g
2) Baked Alaska Soap Bar 120g
3) Million Dollar Facial Moisturiser 10g
4) Santa's Lip Scrub (Tastes like Cola!) 25g
5) So White Shower Gel (Apple-y scent) 100g

I can't wait to have a relaxing bath one evening and give myself a mini-pamper session.

Christmas Dinner, Student Style

Friday, 5 December 2014

Hello lovelies!

Next week my flatmates and I are all splitting up for the Christmas holidays which meant only one thing, we had to have our own flat Christmas dinner. A lot of planning and timetabling was involved ( a kitchen table ma or may not have been rolled down 2 flights of stairs) but I think it was quite successful. I am proud to say I seasoned and basted my own chicken which turned out delicious.

Of course all the girls were in the kitchen ( I made my Slutty Chocolate Brownies) while the boys did nothing but that wasn't too bad because they were the ones who were stuck with the washing up.

Not too shabby for just £5 a head from good old ASDA ;)

Then to settle our bursting bellies a few of us took a stroll around campus through the Christmas fairy lights.

Who else is ready for it to be Christmas Eve already?

iPhone Diary: A Festive Weekend in London

Monday, 1 December 2014

Hello lovelies!

As it is officially the 1st of December I feel it's sociably acceptable to start getting excited for Christmas and all the festivities that come with the holidays.

I'm now going to uni near Manchester and my best friend is down in London so this weekend I jumped on a train and headed down to her for a weekend getaway.

It was a wonderful weekend with lots of late night trips for frozen yogurt (there are no good froyo places up here so I had to stock up), brilliant ice skating at Somerset House and of course, shopping....

Prepare yourself for the money shot....

Such a good weekend but now that I'm back at uni it's time for me to hit the books :(

A Bright Christmas Day

Thursday, 26 December 2013

Hello lovelies!

So I'm sitting here watching The Snowman on TV, the day after Christmas, and still feeling considerably stuffed after the monster of a turkey dinner my mom put together. I'm talking turkey, ham, veg, potatoes, and two helpings of dessert! Hopefully all your Christmas Days went as well as mine did being surrounded by family and friends and celebrating together.

I thought I'd show you my Christmas Day outfit and also a few photos snapped during the evening.

 Dress: Warehouse
Coat: Zara
Heels: River Island
Bracelet: H&M
Ring: My great-aunt's
Nail Varnish: Inglot Breathable O2M 618

I've been in love with the iconic pink M&S coat that was brought out this A/W but I never thought the cut and style suited me, until I walked into Zara and spotted this beauty hanging on a rail. It's super cosy and a lovely jacket to brighten up your outfit if you're an all black gal like me.

And to round it all up here are a few photos I took to capture the warm Christmassy night we had.

I'm now off to get ready to demolish yet another full turkey dinner at my grandparents, wish both my waistline and me luck!

Christmas Gift Guide 2013

Sunday, 15 December 2013

Hello lovelies!

So it's that time of year again when time seems to be going by too quickly, Christmas is just around the corner and you still haven't bought one present! I absolutely love love love buying presents for people so naturally I have most of my shopping finished but I thought I'd put together a quick last minute gift guide to give you some ideas and make fighting the Christmas crowds that little bit less stressful.

For the Girls

I'll start with the easiest person to buy for, your sister, girlfriend, aunt, cousin and any other female friends. With most girls you can pretty much hit the mark with something cute and pretty think Cath Kidston and scented candles.

If you're in the mood to spoil someone...www.prada.com

Chloé by Chloé is a gorgeous scent that's rich and light at the same time. I'm so bad at describing scents but it's definitely not sweet or floral and makes for a safe purchase. I'd recommend giving it a sniff yourself to see if it seems like the kind your girl would wear.

If your 'giftee' has a Pandora charm bracelet then this cute little reindeer is a beautiful idea. This is just one of my favourites but Pandora have plenty of Christmas themed charms to choose from.

A sparkly top during the Christmas period can never go amiss and this one is from www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk.
