Musée D'Orsay and the River Seine |Exploring Paris 4

Saturday, 11 April 2015

Last Paris blog for you today! So sad that I don't have an excuse to keep looking back through my photos reliving the holiday...

On our last day we had planned to go to the Catacombs, the resting place of some six million people, yes very morbid but it matched the tone of our last day. However when we arrived bright and early the line was already stretched halfway around the park behind the entrance and after and hour of waiting we decided we were not going to waste another second. Off we trotted to the Musée D'Orsay.

After you're welcomed by this breathtaking room (we literally gasped as we walking in) you can take your time looking at Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh and pretty much any impressionist you can imagine!

After soaking up all of that culture we went for a stroll in the sun along the river Seine and sat down by Pont Neuf.

A perfect ending to a brilliant holiday! If anyone is thinking about going to Paris I'd highly recommend it! Even better if you can get to see Paris on a sunny day, it makes all the difference ;)

New Instagram Addiction

Friday, 4 January 2013

Hello Lovelies!

Ok I have to admit it, I'm addicted. And they say the first step it admitting it so I've taken it.

It all started when I got an iPhone for Christmas. At first I was reluctant to get Instagram because I knew me being me I'd instantly become hooked. And of course I was right.

Feel free to follow me, my name is fazed_and_dazed and I make an effort to post good photos everyday. Here's a taste of my amateur Instagramin'

Hope you are all enjoying the last of the holidays and making the most of your remaining days of freedom.

France, MAMAC modern art.

Sunday, 19 August 2012

Bonjour mes petits chats!
So in the second week of France we went to this modern art museum called the MAMAC which stands for something about modern art I can't remember in french. We spent quite some time walking around the three floors and I gotta say I'm not a big art fan but it was interesting. I had no idea what all the stuff was supposed to represent but you know someone's gotta make art and why not create something that looks weird and has no obvious meaning while you're at it? Anyway enough from me and my uneducated thoughts here are some of the many photos I took.

This is not at all morbid looking.

You'd hardly notice the mirror would you?

'There is not a solution because there is not a problem.'

So if you haven't noticed this is a short enough blog because I thought all that deep arty meaningful stuff migt have been a bit heavy going for some of you. But tomorrow I'm talking about Moncao and it's my last blog about France so new types of blog posts are coming after that.
Thanks for reading,
